Notifications
How notifications work in Envision Portal.
Envision Portal sends in-app notifications to keep you informed about activity relevant to your datasets and requests.
Inbox
Your notifications are collected in the inbox at /app/inbox. Unread notifications are indicated in the sidebar.
Notification Types
| Type | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| New access request | Someone has submitted a request for one of your datasets |
| Request status update | The status of a request you submitted has changed |
| Dataset invitation | You have been invited to join a dataset as a team member |
| DUA update | A data use agreement has been signed or updated on a controlled request |
Managing Notifications
From the inbox you can:
- Mark as read - Dismiss a notification after reviewing it
- Delete - Remove a notification permanently
Notifications are also sent by email for important events. The email address used is the one on your account profile.
